People – some people – are confusing biological sex, with sociological gender. I get why. We often use these terms as if they mean the same thing. But they really dont.

A boy playing with dolls — cough, cough, “action figures” — may mean something or it may mean little. It may be a sign that the boy simply likes the toyline – which has its own story, a well marketed one no doubt, and it may mean that the boy is gay…or trans…or both…or, again, straight cis gender boys do play with action figures.
