I know no transgender person who seriously argues that their is zero difference between women and m-f transsexuals.

Plenty of trans activists and their allies take this position. “Deadnaming,” if you refer to someone’s prior name/life before transitioning, is almost a capital offense. That’s why they oppose reasonable accommodations such as making a distinction between a transwoman athlete and a cis-female athlete — suggest that there’s a difference to an activist and see what happens!
