I don’t agree with Andrew Sullivan about all things political, but he’s been at the forefront of warning about what’s going on. In Britain, feminist Kathleen Stock has risked her academic career to do the same.

I do, too. It seems to me that both extremes have moved outside of center-left/center-right rationality and are no longer grounded in objective reality.

Gays and lesbians broke the back of conservative Christian and conservative homosexual propaganda by coming out and telling their stories to family, friends, neighbors and employers. Individual stories have great power — studies show that people are much less likely to buy into conservative Christian and conservative homosexual propaganda if they know a gay or lesbian reasonably well. If this interview is any indication, the parents of trans kids might have to follow our lead. Nothing gives lie to propaganda like the truth.
