Never-Trump conservatives and libertarians may regret supporting Biden Harris and the radicalized Democratic party.

Perhaps, but I suspect that libertarians and Never-Trump conservatives will have no regrets at all about having supported Biden if the President prevails and serves another term.

Tom, Biden turns 78 on November 20. He might not complete his first term.

He might not. Just under 1 in 5 Presidents (8 out of 44, the fate of 45th still to be decided) have died in office. That’s why we have a Vice President on hand to take over.

Of course, if President Trump prevails and wins a second term, there’s no assurance that he’ll survive the term, either. He’ll be on the cusp of 75 when he starts his second term, and has significant risk factors (obesity, high calcium CT values, high LDL values somewhat controlled by a powerful statin) for cardiovascular disease, and he has had COVID, which is often associated with long term cardiovascular and pulmonary complications, particularly in older patients.

However the election turns out, we will have a President with a higher than normal risk of not completing the term.
