This man is literally risking his job to stand up for our shared ideals.
Bravo. https://t.co/ReuOhl2Rej
Dr. Paglia, who identifies as a lesbian and had lived with a female partner for years, should be replaced by a queer person?

Foolishness indeed. https://t.co/r4GEFoQzA1
Inept crew who protested Camille Paglia were not able to stop her lecture. Only a few protesters made it into hall. Must have been mystifying for them. Had to listen to her scholarly lecture on Nefertiti’s massive wig crown & 18th Dynasty Egyptian design. https://t.co/AJvU7MaMp8

My view is that “The Chicago Principles”, adopted by 20+ major universities around the country (including several public institutions like the University of Wisconsin), is a sensible approach to the issue, a proper balancing of constituent interests involved. To me, this issue should be non-controversial. I do not believe that this is an appropriate venue for government intervention outside (perhaps) of the policies of public colleges and universities.

I also support the University of Chicago in in opposing efforts by the federal government to regulate freedom of speech/expression in private universities. Freedom of speech/expression in colleges and universities should not be a political issue.

Didn’t she write that that was most of her career in some fashion? I realize people get stabbed in the back all the time, but I’d think after all this time she’d have found a sanctuary.
I am neutral on President Trump’s executive order. It seems to me that the student loan problem is something of the federal government’s doing, and that it makes sense to slowly get into the habit of watching where its money goes carefully. If there were a chance of making the executive order permanent, I might be for it. But I’m not sure I’m willing to trade bans on gendered bathrooms with bans on violent protests every time the president switches parties.

Congratulations! Once again a topic that 99 & 44/100% of people neither know about nor care about. That’s life in the fishbowl of a comfy blue enclave by an elite homocon.

Perhaps you can direct us to your blog, where the posts promise to mirror what everyone (on the left) knows about and is talking about.
If you don’t think these anti-free speech shenanigans and the demand to replace a lesbian iconoclast with a progressive queer of color is worthy of a blog called Independent Gay Forum Culturwatch, maybe you could try to form an argument and explain why?
