While at first this blow-up among the parents of first graders just looks silly, it shows how ugly of things can (and, in many cases, will) get.

    Nope, it’s just a clumsy effort by conservatives (ever the “victims,” of course) to “prove” that they’re targeted by all these powerful interests who are out to get them. Without persecution complexes, modern social conservatives would have no meaning in their lives.
