And if a 3-year-old says he’s a bird…

Rob Smith says when a gender-nonconforming child, such as a boy who “happens to be more effeminate” and therefor identifies with girls gets told “No, no, he’s not a boy he’s a girl…there’s an element of homophobia in that.”

I did not think there was any merit to the criticism when I heard about it. In fact I thought his comments were spot-on.

isnt prageru a Christian fundamentalist website?

No, Prager U is a mainstream conservative website. Dave Rubin, an openly gay libertarian/conservative with a husband, is a presenter: https://www.prageru.com/presenter/dave-rubin/.

Hmmmmm I’d say it’s more a fundamentalist mainstream conservative website.

Dennis Prager is Jewish. He’s conservative and religiously observant but I would not call him a fundamentalist (a word that has specifically Christian connotations).

Dennis Prager believes that gay marriage is a major threat to America, believes that global warming is a myth, believes in a religious test for the expression of political liberty and has some downright creepy beliefs on rape.

To his credit, he does actually believe in the science behind evolution and his er, um, ‘University’ is willing to include gay conservatives.

PragerU presents various viewpoints along the libertarian/conservative spectrum, including as I noted Dave Rubin’s (which the above cacklers have chosen to ignore).

They advertise that they’ve got “currated collections” from Ben Shapiro, Tucker Carlson, and Michelle Malkin.

So I’m gonna hedge “Fox News++”

For me — hardly one to worship at the altar of Fox News or MSNBC news — the problem is that I do not believe that the homocons care about the basic rights and dignity of transgender people.
We saw this with the debate over the Equality Act.

They — homocons — may have valid concerns, but they have no credibility. The title of this thread mocks transgender youth by suggesting that it’s akin to believing that they are a little bird.

Also, as an aside, the actor was not told to apologize by the government. The pressure was put on him from the private, free-market sector, i.e. consumers and business owners. Isn’t that something that homocons are supposed to love?

Personally, I don’t follow Mario Lopez, so I didn’t know what he said, nor was I someone who asked for him to apologize. With celebrities, I suspect that 90% of their public “political” statements are done to generate publicity/buzz.

Lopez — after some research — starred in a TV movie; Breaking the Surface: The Greg Louganis Story, back in 1997. Which put him on the cover of the Advocate.

    You expected different from Miller?
