    Someday I’m going to have to figure out how to covertly carry a weapon that’s not going to make me homeless if I get disarmed of it.

    How come Antifa seems to get away with it?
    (They’re not weapons.)

    From the Commentary article:

    “The wonder is that, very much to the credit of the American people, these fake hate crimes have not (yet) fomented more real hate crimes.”

    I find that hard to believe.

    I suppose the national sentiment is moved by more prominent things than hate crimes.

    If you want less attention paid to fake hate crimes, then you gotta give groups like the HRC sufficient time to determine whether or not a particular incident is legit or not.

    Also hate crime laws — at least federally — do not address beating someone up because of their politics. I can argue that they should, and maybe state laws differ.
