HRC’s ‘Partisan Political Propaganda’

Brad Polumbo writes: “Apparently, holding conservative views on abortion and immigration now makes you an anti-gay bigot in the HRC’s estimation.” Actually, this is nothing new for HRC. As Polumbo notes, “The organization’s ratings are basically just partisan progressive propaganda.”

More. Originally, the (then) Human Rights Campaign Fund focused on congressional races, supporting Democrats and Republicans who favored legal equality for gays and lesbians. Now, HRC finds reasons not to endorse gay-supportive and openly gay Republicans, such as if the aren’t pro-abortion or don’t toe the line on other progressive-left issues. That would be OK if they branded themselves as what they are—the LGBTQ outreach arm of the Democratic party. Instead, they claim to represent the whole LGBTQ community, and raise funds based on that claim.

Furthermore. One of the most disingenuous HRC press releases ever: Trump-Pence Admin Reportedly Planning to Erase Non-Discrimination Protections for LGBTQ People Across Federal Agencies. What’s actually being considered: not extending the meaning of “sex” discrimination in existing federal laws and regulations to include discrimination against people for being transgender. I’d actually favor covering transgender people under “sex” discrimination” but it arguably is a stretch, and there is a strong conservative argument for not creating new law by redefining words in current law. What’s not about to happen is what HRC is scare-mongering about.

IF HRC leans to D it is because of the GOP’s relentless attempts to destroy the lives of gay people. See the 2016 platform for exhibit A.

I am aware of no part of the Republican party platform that purports to destroy the lives of gay people. The sun does not rise and fall around gay marriage.

Perhaps the best indicator of the effect of the 2016 Republican Platform on gays and lesbians is to let Republicans speak.

The Log Cabin Republicans sent out this fundraising email shortly after the Party of Hate’s platform was approved:

There’s no way to sugar-coat this: I’m mad as hell — and I know you are, too.

Moments ago, the Republican Party passed the most anti-LGBT Platform in the Party’s 162-year history. Opposition to marriage equality, nonsense about bathrooms, an endorsement of the debunked psychological practice of “pray the gay away” — it’s all in there.

This isn’t my GOP, and I know it’s not yours either. Heck, it’s not even Donald Trump’s! When given a chance to follow the lead of our presumptive presidential nominee and reach out to the LGBT community in the wake of the awful terrorist massacre in Orlando on the gay nightclub Pulse, the Platform Committee said NO.

BUT … now is not the time to sit around feeling sorry for ourselves. Log Cabin Republicans has been officially credentialed for the Republican National Convention, and when it convenes in Cleveland in a mere 6 days’ time I want to be able to take a stand, but we’re going to need your support to do it.

Cleveland is rightly making the most of their time in the spotlight, and prices for advertising in area news outlets are sky-high. That’s why I’m writing to ask for your help.

Please give today and give generously — $500, $250, $100, or whatever you can give would go a long way to ensuring we don’t go quietly into the night.

Take back the Platform. Take back the Party. Stand up today and let the folks on the Platform Committee who paved the way to this foolishness know you’re not going down without a fight!

      Sincerely,
      Gregory T. Angelo
      President

I quietly note that LCR was unsuccessful, and immediately after the platform was enacted, Angelo had this to say: “Moments ago, the Republican Party passed the most anti-LGBTQ Platform in the Party’s 162-year history.

Will any of this (overturning Obergefell, restricting/eliminating gay/lesbian adoption, government-sanctioned, targeted discrimination against gays and lesbians, so-called “conversion therapy, forcing transgender men to use women’s bathrooms and vis a versus, and so on) “destroy the lives of gay people”? No, it won’t.

Gays and lesbians survived in a world where we were pariahs, without equal rights, and we toughened up and turned the country around. We won’t be destroyed if Republicans are successful in implementing the planks of the 2016 Platform. We will, instead, fight.

      Or the church of Lucifer.

I assume that you are talking conservative Christianity here?

A corrective note: “The Log Cabin Republicans sent out this fundraising email shortly after the Party of Hate’s platform was approved:”

The “Party of Hate” was lifted from an article quoting the Angelo e-mail. I did not notice it when I cut and pasted, or I would have corrected it. I do not consider the Republican Party the “Party of Hate”. It is anti-equality, to be sure, but is not a hate group or “Party of Hate”. It is dominated, with respect to “culture wars” issues, by conservative Christians. It would undoubtedly be more accurate to describe the Republican Party as the “Party of Christ”, I suppose, but I’ll stick with “anti-equality”.

The Slaveocrat Party is the party of hate. Anyone who supports el-jibbity supports anti-gay hatred.

      • posted by Matthew on

Anti-el-jibbity is pro-gay. It’s about time someone stood up to their complicity in gay erasure. The Slaveocrat Party does not support gays and lesbians. It supports the transcult and will gladly throw gays and lesbians on the sword to support us. They have been complicit in the deplatforming, harassment, and violence against jenn-durr critical speakers. That’s why they project their own homophobia onto the right. So they can subjugate us all to heterosexual male supremacy in the name of the cult of jenn-durr and its sexist, homophobic ideas about how men and women should think, behave, and dress. That cult should have been destroyed once second-wave feminism came along, but instead they doubled down on it.

Gregory T. Angelo is an embarrassment and a RINO. Can we get an LCR head who supports #DropTheT and #GetTheLOut and who has a consonant at the head of his name? Until then, LCR remains nothing more than the right wing of the stealth anti-gay transcult shakedown network.

The Regressive Left supports anti-gay ex-gay therapy. Until they disavow any and all support of the transcult, they remain the bigger threat to the gay community and all who continue support them are quislings and turncoats who are putting future generations of gays and lesbians at risk, not to mention women’s rights.

Cognitive dissonance is spouting emotionalist hyperbole like “an endorsement of the debunked psychological practice of “pray the gay away” ” while refusing to condemn the Regressive Left and its RINO enablers for supporting anti-gay “trans the gay away” ex-gay therapy. If you want to know what the Regressive Left is up to, then see what they accuse their critics of doing. Their entire worldview is based on projecting their own amorality and treachery onto patriotic hard-working gay Republican men and women. If Dennis Hastert had been a Democrat, there’d be no age of consent laws by now. And as for Communism, I live in a largely Latino (I oppose the transcult assault on the English language so naturally I oppose its assault on other languages, too) area and I see no one paying homage to either Fidel Castro or Che Guevara, not to mention Castro’s double-crossing transcult-ass-kissing bitch daughter Mariela.

The transcult is the reason the GOP is hesitant to get behind gay rights. We would have had gay marriage and ENDA a generation or more earlier if not for their active sabotage of gay issues in the name of transcult transcult über alles and their depraved desire to sterilize children and effectively erase and replace homosexuality.

And in the immediate years before the legalization of gay marriage, the HRC’s partisanship and claiming of credit for things that it had nothing to do with was embarrassing, as were those thousand-dollar-a-plate rubber chicken dinners.

No. The people who think it is.

Opposition to marriage equality, nonsense about bathrooms, an endorsement of the debunked psychological practice of “pray the gay away” — it’s all in there.

I think most “anti-LGBT platform in the party’s history” if more plausible than “trying to destroy LGBT lives”. If marriage, bathrooms, and ex-gay therapy was the best anyone could do, I am not impressed. Every single one of those items was a backlash to an overreach.

That a party terms itself against big government in principle, and opposes bad laws on that principle, though those laws happen to benefit a specific subgroup, does make the party against that group. It’s no different when the law is about farm subsidies (“you’re trying to destroy the lives of farmers!”) or taxes (“you’re against small businesses!”) or school spending (“you’re against children!”) than it is when it’s about a group that can use their sympathetic minority status as leverage. It is a meaningless argument that aims to distract, and it is repeated often because it is very good at creating such distraction.

Not everything that is good for this country is good for gays, and not everything that purports to be good for gays is good for us either. A little less hate and a lot more understanding would go a long way.

Now as for the Republican party being or not being the party of hate, at the rate things are going it won’t be too long when both parties are so radicalized that they both become hate groups. After Charlottesville probably most people thought the Republican party crossed a line (I am not one of them). After the Kavanaugh hearings some people thought the Democratic party crossed a different line. I bring up this idea in light of those newfound groups on both the right on the left that are skirting the line on criminal activity but claim to be against hate organizations. We are beginning to see a situation where a “hate group” can be an organization with a mix of decent (if misguided) and violently hateful people. That temptation is dangling in front of both parties right now.

Anti-el-jibbity is pro-gay. “Pray the gay away” is just wasting your time by praying to a false God. The real God, the Jewish God, doesn’t answer prayers rooted in hatred of His gay and lesbian children. “Trans the gay away” causes more long-term physical damage. As long as the Slaveocrat Party supports the transcult and supports the use of force against those who question it. Now reality TV is crawling with sick, manipulative, fakey-jakey, manufactured stories showing how much “better” and “cooler” it is to have a “tr*nskid” than have him grow up to be some nasty, dirty old homosexual. So in their minds — and yes, sometimes they do use religion to justify it — it’s better to be physically sterilized before puberty to conform to some sick hetero fetish than to grow up to be a happy, well-adjusted gay adult. Future generations will look back on us with the same rightful revulsion with which we now look at the Tuskegee Experiments and lobotomies. The Regressive Left projects its own bigotry onto its opponents in order to justify erasure, accusing gays of being bigots for objecting to gay youth being turned into Frankenstein monsters.

“We are beginning to see a situation where a “hate group” can be an organization with a mix of decent (if misguided) and violently hateful people. That temptation is dangling in front of both parties right now.”

This is not a new political phenomenon by any means. The Slaveocrats have been drunk on nostalgia for late 1960s Baby Boomer malignant narcissism since as far back as…well, let’s face it, they never really grew out of it, and every generation since then has been paying the price in insidious ways that it will take at least another generation to do something about. It was their party’s convention that leftist radicals targeted for riots in 1968. They totally lost their shit after the deaths of Jack and Bobby Kennedy — the selection of George McGovern for their 1972 Presidential candidate over Henry “Scoop” Jackson was proof of that — while Republicans bounced back from Nixon’s fall from grace pretty quickly by 1980 in time to elect Ronald Reagan president and to hold onto the presidency for 12 years, a feat neither party has accomplished since. If Reagan represented Old Hollywood values, then Trump represents reality TV values while the last three Slaveocrats in office represent old media gradually losing its grip on the audience now that we have alternatives we didn’t have before.

Since joining the transcult is a choice (unlike being gay which is something you have to be born with) and jenn-durr is nothing but a sexist homophobic cult, then Trump is doing more for gay people than LCR(INO). Trump standing up to the transcult infiltration of our armed forces while still appointing gays is what made it hard to oppose him in good conscience. Anti-transcult is pro-gay just as being anti-Nazi is pro-Jewish. The celebration of anti-gay anti-male propaganda to the point where we are sterilizing children is one of the reasons the United States stopped being great, along with the vile misogyny perpetuated against lesbians by rapey cross-dressing heterosexual male fetishists trying to force the cult of PIV-rape onto them. Lesbians and gay men should not have to settle for opposite-sex sex partners because all non-homosexual sexuality is inherently perverse and misogynistic. Heterosexuality is misogyny.

Just for the record, I quietly note that a significant number of Americans are both anti-Nazi and anti-Semitic. Your logic is faulty if you believe that anti-Nazi is the equivalent of pro-Jewish.

        • posted by Matthew on

And you don’t use any logic at all, that’s why you’re still a Regressive Leftist and a typically privileged gentile male misogynist. If you were any kind of a “progressive,” then you would be supporting jenn-durr critical radical feminists 100%.

There is nothing pro-gay or conservative about transcultism, and I’ll be damned if I’m going to let allies of the gay community be smeared as bigots for standing up to genital mutilation and gay erasure. How they managed to be both anti-gay and anti-God at the same time is a wonder in and of itself. And not a small one.

And by the way, the g-word that rhymes with blender is hetero male hate speech against women and against gay men. You will stop using it. The word is “sex.” If you cannot use the word “sex,” than you are neither mature enough or intelligent enough to either discuss it or have it.

    • posted by Matthew on

And if you think transcultism isn’t being used as a form of ex-gay therapy, then you are wrong. From the article I linked:

“Jack and Jace Grafe, 23, were born Jaclyn and Jennifer in June 1995 and raised in a conservative Christian home in Baltimore, Maryland, however, they never felt truly comfortable.”

To describe them as conservative is to abuse the word just as much as the Regressive Left has distorted the words “liberal” and “progressive” to turn them into euphemisms for socialism. They would be equally at home in Iran, Pakistan, Syria, or Lebanon (which puts that “Lebanese/Lesbian” joke from THE GOLDEN GIRLS in perspective) where they ban gays but allow the transcult. Bravo to Trump for doing something about it, and fuck you to the Slaveocrat Party and the Christo-Islamic menace for collaborating with Muslims and trannies at the expense of Jews, gay people, racial minorities (sterilizing people of color should be a boon for white supremacists), and women.

Quite frankly, you’re not just a bigot if you tolerate any non-homosexual form of human sexuality in 2018, you’re putting the future of the Earth at risk.

Leftism is immoral, plain and simple. Without capitalism, gays, women, and racial minorities would be no better off in the developed world then they are in racist sexist antisemitic homophobic Muslim shitholes. Islam is the worst form of goyism.

And it’s delusional mealy-mouthed Regressive Leftists like you who are turning California into a shithole that only the very rich and those who serve them can afford to live in. I have had family in California since before I was born, and I visited the state fairly regularly since the 1980s. Legalizing cannabis just leaves police with enough time to prosecute actual violent crime, but it alone is not enough to mitigate two decades or more of bad economic policy under gerrymandering race-baiting Slaveocrats and cowardly RINOs (insert obligatory WIZARD OF OZ joke here, since after all, this is still a gay board) who think they can be appeased.

Lori Heine is a handmaid and so is any woman who refuses to condemn the transcult. Unfortunately, as much as I hate heterosexuality, I’m afraid I have more common ground with a heterosexual woman who holds g*nd*r-critical views than with a lesbian who sells us out to the transcult for political convenience. If you support the transcult in any way, shape, or form, then you don’t really support gay people and you never did. Allies say gay, bigots say el-jibbity. I voted for Gary Johnson in 2012 and 2016. This heroic stand against the cult of jenn-durr confirms that I will be voting for Donald Trump in 2020. If anything, this could accidentally end up being the first g*nd*r-critical Presidency in American history.

As I was saying before I got sidetracked on something else (I do have a life outside this site, you know), there used to be a wide variety of other writers on this site before they either died or migrated to other sites. Very little was written about the transcult (whenever it was mentioned it was treated as a curiosity at best or an extreme form of self-loathing homophobia at worst), and the word “gay” was in the site’s URL and name as it was spelled out on the site. The old URL was indegayforum.org. This is why we need to keep gay things gay. This is why we need to drop the T and go back to just saying “gay and lesbian.” This is why we need to be more g*nd*r-critical and hetero-critical.
