Twixt Left and Right

Hatefulness gussied up as moral superiority can be found among conservatives and progressives. Ideologues, one and all.

Bad anti-LGBT conservatives:

Bad LGBT leftists:

As others have pointed out, these “useful idiots” (in Lenin’s famed words) wouldn’t last long on the streets of Gaza City or Ramallah. But no one would care in Tel Aviv.

Gee, maybe these aren’t just “isolated incidents”?

Some sanity:

the bathroom bills actually have traction, often in states without civil rights protections to begin with. they are peddled by people who have a mean streak.

The boycott Israel campaign is largely run by people who want to end the suffering of Palestinians, but have little actually contact with the actual peace process – which, much like the Israeli gay rights campaign is run by progressive and moderate leftists .

Yes, the fact that Israel is progressive about gay rights, doesn’t mean that the the government is immune from criticism about Palestinians.

Uh, huh. As always, the goyim are more than ready, willing and able to tell us what Jews think. Or is it what Jews should think if only they were arrogant enough to think like the goyim?

“Pinkwashing is when groups or individuals use LGBTQ issues and spaces for their own marketing and political agendas.”

There’s so much of it done on the left I always thought it was acceptable, and LGBTQs are by far the most responsible.

I could do an entire feature: Q: How do You use pinkwashing? A: I use pinkwashing to praise Pope Benedict and the Catholic Church. (Actually true!)

So criticize it, if you dare.

That reminds me, there’s some bill floating around Congress that would make it a criminal offense for certain entities to participate in the Boycott/Divestment part of BDS. It’s causing so much shock that people who hear about it can’t even think straight. It orders an amendment to an existing law, so it’s probably actually Constitutional.

Well, I am not sure that I want to rely too much on Jorge, for Constitutional law.

I would be glad to be of service, TJ3, even if you take leads in a completely different direction than I would.

The intelligence I get on this website is fascinating, and I never know when a piece of information can be incredibly useful.
